Il nuovo Batman, che apparirà nel sequel dell'Uomo d'Acciaio di Zack Snyder (previsto per il 2015): deve essere interpretato diversamente dai Batman già visti - varie serie Tv, Tim Burton fine '80, Joel Schumacher anni '90, Christopher Nolan 2000... Sarebbe Josh Brolin il candidato #1?

Un nuovo approccio al personaggio? Quindi deve essere (finalmente!) quel geniale super-detective strategico, intelligente, imponente, potente e motivatissimo più fedele al concept fumettistico moderno. Un tizio affidabile (non un pazzo!) e assolutamente deciso, dalla personalità magnetica e dalla mente sanissima, che si traveste da pipistrello solo come gesto funzionale e razionale, utile all'interno di un più vasto piano: intimidire e spaventare tutti i criminali.
Per "L'Uomo d'Acciaio 2" si parla di contrapporre al 33enne Superman (..."Begins") di Henry Cavill un Batman più anziano ed esperto, sui 40 anni. Sembra che il Man in Black Josh Brolin, californiano di 45 anni, sia il primo della lista... lo trovo OK ma troppo basso e fisicamente modesto.
Serve un gigante intorno al metro e novanta e, soprattutto, carismatico: il cattivissimo Leonida di 300, Gerard Butler,

scozzese di 43 anni; oppure l'ambiguo Thorin dello Hobbit, Richard Armitage, inglese di 41 anni... E che dire del bestiale Wolverine Hugh Jackman, australiano di 44 anni (il suo fisico è più adatto al Crociato Incapucciato)? O l’inquietante vampiro Alexander Skarsgård, svedese di 36 anni? O il figo Mad Man Jon Hamm, americano di 42 anni?
Più bassi?... L'unico sotto al metro e novanta che vorrei è il fantastico e tremendo Magneto di X-Men – L’inizio (2011), Michael Fassbender, irlandese di 36 anni. Mentre potrei dare una possibilità al buon Bard dello Hobbit, Luke Evans, inglese di 34 anni (che forse in questo concept snyderiano è troppo giovane - stessa cosa per l'alto e antipatico Thranduil dello Hobbit, Lee Pace, americano di 34 anni). Fermo restando che un diverso approccio, rispetto a quello nolaniano, da parte del Cavaliere Oscuro Christian Bale, inglese di 39 anni, potrebbe essere estremamente interessante… Qualcosa di meno fragile e molto più duro.

A different interpretation of the character? So, he must be (finally!) that kind of gifted super-detective - strategic, smart, imposing, powerful and ultra-motivated - more faithful to the modern comics concept. He should be a reliable guy (not a lunatic!), absolutely determined, his personality magnetic, his mind really healthy; disguising himself as a bat just because it's a useful and rational choice, functional in his long-running extensive plan: to intimidate and scare all criminals.

For "Man of Steel 2" it seems the 33-years-old Henry Cavill's Superman (..."Begins") will be thrown against an older, more skilled Batman in his 40s. Man in Black Josh Brolin, 45yo Californian, is rumoured to top the list... I like him but he's too short and physically modest.
An over-6.1-feet giant is needed, especially a charismatic one: the cruel 300's Leonidas, Gerard Butler, 43yo Scottish; or the ambiguous Hobbit's Thorin, Richard Armitage,

41yo English... And what about the beasty Wolverine Hugh Jackman, 44yo Australian (his body fits more to the Caped Crusader)? Or the creepy vampire Alexander Skarsgård, 36yo Swedish? Or the cool Mad Man Jon Hamm, 42yo American?
Shorter candidates?... The one and only less-than-6.1-feet actor I’d want is the fantastic and fearful 2011 X-Men: First Class’ Magneto, Michael Fassbender, 36yo Irish. I could give a chance to the good Hobbit’s Bard, Luke Evans, 34yo English (but maybe he’s too young for the snyderian concept - the same for the tall and unpleasant Hobbit's Thranduil, Lee Pace, 34yo American). Of course, I say that it would be actually interesting a different take, from the nolanian trilogy, by the Dark Knight himself Christian Bale, 39yo English… Something less breakable and much, much harder.
