Ricordi del mio fumetto 1998 Hasbro/LFL preview su SW-Episodio I: The Phantom Menace (La minaccia fantasma) "Il Potere della Forza"; e poi sul leggendario progetto SW italiano The Hidden Wars, l'allora club Cloud City, e l'attività moderna e decennale di Yavin 4 e di Living Force Magazine.

La storia della Forza di Guerre Stellari nella vecchia, classica Italia è molto, molto, MOLTO interessante... piena di sangue e luce, trionfi nella pace e guerre distruttive, tremendi nemici e amici per la vita, odio e amore. Soprattutto, PASSIONE. Un giorno dovremo raccontarla, in qualche modo... forse nel modo in cui 3PO raccontava agli Ewok della Guerre Civile Galattica... Questo fumetto italiano del 1998 è, per certi versi, il principale di molti eventi legati al fanclub CC, naturalmente connessi in maniera strettissima al terremoto nel Fandom causato da Episodio I e dai Prequel. Bellissimi ricordi, ma anche grande tristezza. Le cose stavano cambiando e cambiarono, ovviamente, proprio come Star Wars stava cambiando al cinema. E ora è un altro universo Fandom italiano, forse più facile ma di certo un po' troppo tranquillo! E la ruota sta ancora girando - come gira la Galassia, così gira la ruota: la Disney ora creerà un altro terremoto nel Fandom SW. Noi, come fan, cambieremo ancora!

Grande team work, datato 1998 - eravamo più giovani e sognanti, ma non più appassionati!

The story of the Star Wars Force in old, classic Italy is very, very, VERY interesting... full of blood and light, peaceful triumphs and destructive wars, fierce enemies and lifetime friends, hatred and love. Over all, PASSION. One day we have to tell it somehow... maybe the way 3PO told the Ewoks about the Galactic Civil War... This 1998 Italian comic is in some ways the turning point of lots of Italian CC fanclub events, of course directly connected to the Episode I and Prequel Fandom-earthquake. Great memories, but great sadness too. Things were changing and changed, of course, just like Star Wars was changing at the cinema. And now it is another Italian-Fandom universe, maybe easier but surely a little too much quiet! And the wheel is turning again - so turns a Galaxy, so turns the wheel: Disney will now create another SW Fandom earthquake. We, fans, will change again!

Credits to the author Fiorenzo "Emperor" Delle Rupi of Cloud City, first of all, and then to the set designer Giuseppe Paggi, to the drawer Stefano "Vime" Vimercati (II Skywalker Award, 2005) and to the colorist Nicola "INK" Previati. That's been a great team work, from year 1998 - we were younger and more dreamer ones, but not less fans!
